Contemplating A Lifetime Commitment

Series: Mighty Marriages

Source Text: Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!

According to the lesson, what is the second most important relationship in your life?

According to Ecclesiastes 4:12, what are we able to do with a companion to one who wishes to try and overtake us?

List 3 Characteristics we learn about the devil in John 8:44:
1. _________________________________________________________________________
2. _________________________________________________________________________
3. _________________________________________________________________________

Where does all of our safety and strength come from? ______________________________________________________________________________________ (what verse is mentioned?)

Think on these topics and study out how important it is to be equipped with a companion that
is able to help you fight against all the wiles of the devil!
      - Contemplating the commitment of a lifetime.
      - How important is picking a mate?
      - Understanding God’s design for marriage.
      - What tools does God give us to have (& keep) strong marriages?
      - How does the Satan attack our marriages?
      - What makes us weak & easy targets for his deception?
      - What fruit can we bear in the Kingdom by having strong marriages?

A point to ponder: in Genesis it went from ________ to _______ ________ once God created man and his companion.
