The Scriptures are under attack. People assume all kinds of things about their reliability that we want to examine to setermine if their concerns are true. Lets look at the Old Testament to consider a few reasons yopu cna find its contents trustworthy despite the fact that they were written thousands of years ago and the "original autographs" have long since deteriorated and decayed. We want look at three areas of evidence today-the New Testament confirmation of the Old Tesitmate Scriptures, the textual transmissions practices of the copiest and a bit of evidence from the Dead Sea scrolls.
