Providence is defined as providing by means of foresight and/or forethought. Our challenge is to try to understand (using scripture) how God works His will as He uses His divine providence upon His creation. We can examine both general providence (God's general control over all things) and his specific and special providence (His specific documented usage of individuals and circumstances throughout time that works for the good of His people and for His plan). Great examples of this are Joseph (Gen 45:4-5) and Esther (4:13-14).  We also look at some misconceptions about God's providence.
