I Want To Go Home

Source text: 1 John 2:15-17 

When we’ve been away for a while, we have a strong desire to get home and relax and enjoy the familiar comforts of “home” What is it that we are longing for that we enjoy once we are home? Hopefully we have a similar desire for our final destination, HEAVEN.

Many of the things we love about home are not bad. We grow to desire familiar things. A good question to ask though is, do we have those same feelings for godly things?

1 John 2:15 says, “Do not _______ the world or the _________ in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the ____________ is not in him. 

• List some things you are excited about in going to heaven:

Now, are you really, truly excited about them or do you just know you should be?
