Peter was truly just an ordinary man. Not much education, fisherman, very common name, as well as common weaknesses as are common amoung us all; these are the raw and honest facts about Peter. Yet, because of his zeal and proactive heart, he rose to be the most prominant and vocal apostle among the original apostles. He wore his heart for all to see. This attitude served him both for good and evil. However, Peter's transformation is not dissimilar to ours. He came from nothing, yet became a vital leader of the early church, both as Apsotle and Elder.
