Bible Reading Calendar
To help you grow in understanding of God's will and devotion to Jesus Christ, we have a Bible reading plan for the year that will aid us in growing our faith, overcoming temptation and sharing our faith side by side.
- Each Sunday and Wednesday we’ll read a psalm (to lift our hearts in worship and find mid-week refreshment)
- Twice a week we will read a chapter from the book of Acts (to remind ourselves of how and why the early church was successful in their growth) and a chapter from the Old Testament (to be admonished and comforted by the examples of the godly in ages past).
- Each Monday we will start our week by memorizing a verse of Scripture from the words of Jesus (to keep his words in our heart).
- On Fridays we offer some practical ideas of how to put this word into action by serving others.
“Man shall not live by bread alone” (Matt 4:4). Those were our Lord’s words. Let’s take them seriously and interact with his word every day in 2018.
