Make Me a Servant

A servant is a person who performs duties for others. It is a person who does the will of someone else. It is an individual who must do things that are not always convenient, not always pleasant, and sometimes the things they are asked to do, are at great cost to them.  A servant can also either serve willingly, or under obligation.  We sing a song that states “Make Me a Servant.”  Let us appreciate that for which we are asking.  God’s word can help us understand what it truly means to be a servant of Christ.
