We live in the midst of a confused culture wherein the most fundamental aspects of humanity are frequently blurred and distorted.

In our last lesson we reminded ourselves of fundamental facts:

1. In the beginning, God created
2. God created human beings
3. Human beings are created in God’s own image
4. Gender is one of the most basic expressions of the image of God (Gen 1:27b)

When God said, “Let us make man in our image” (Gen 1:26), what did he have in mind?

1. Provide (Gen 2:15)
2. Pursue (Gen 2:16-17)
3. Protect (Gen 2:17)
4. Partner (Gen 2:18)

But God also created “female” in his own image. What did he have in mind?
