The Higher Ways of the Lord

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isa 55:8-9)

Throughout the Bible, God shows us that He knows the best way for us to live, worship, and find salvation with Him. He is our designer and Creator; it stands to reason He would know the best way for us to accomplish all these things. Yet, mankind will consistently try and find its own way. When we reject God’s ways, or amend them to suit our own comfort, only difficulty will come.
