Series: Holy Spirit

Introduction:  The Holy Spirit does dwell in Christians.  Romans 8:9, "But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you.  Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His."  So, the real question is not whether the Spirit dwells in us, but how?

I.  What Bible verses indicate the Holy Spirit dwells within us?

II.  Are there other members of the Godhead whom dwell within us?  Who?

III.  Take a moment to distinguish between the "Person" and "Presence" of Deity.  Why is the important?

IV.  How does the Holy Spirit dwell within us?

V.  When Solomon built a temple for God, in what sense did He "dwell" in it (1 Kings 8-9)?

VI.  What are the benefits of the Spirit's word dwelling in us?
