"Why Are You Troubled?"

Upon first hearing of the resurrected Jesus, the denials, doubts and derision of the apostles are met with this forceful, faith-inducing question of Jesus, “Why are you troubled?  And why do doubts arise in your hearts?” (Luke 24:38).   

The disciples’ “doubts” concerning His resurrection were the very source of their “trouble.”  Yet, in the midst of skepticism Jesus brings certainty.  As we, like the apostles, are tempted to doubt the grandest of all of the verifying miracles of Jesus, remember three chief reasons why _____________ is not an option!
